Let’s make my Mom’s beloved Sauerkraut and Sausage Recipe! We start with a few simple ingredients.

Start by adding the apple chicken sausage into the skillet. Please note, you can substitute kielbasa or bratwurst in at this stage, but you must fully cook them. The apple chicken sausage we buy comes pre-cooked, so it just needs browning.

Next add the Sauerkraut.

Then all the other ingredients. Cover and cook. And you’ll be left with the most delicious meal.
