Decorating: Liberally frost cookie with brown frosting, placing extra where the candy will go. Follow video to see exact locations and kinds of candy to place on turkey cookies. Use writing gels to make waddle (red gel) and names of guests (white gel). Make extra cookies for additional guests that might show up (or your primary guests wanting seconds!). Allow the cookies to dry overnight on your countertop. Decorating these cookies the day before thanksgiving is the best idea for timing.NOTE: Though the frosting and writing gel will harden a bit, these will not be stackable cookies. Best to keep them in one layer at all times.

Notes
NOTE: Though the frosting and writing gel will harden a bit, these will not be stackable cookies. Best to keep them in one layer at all times.Easily use my no-spread sugar cookie recipe for the cookies and my buttercream frosting recipe for the frosting with the gel food dye I recommend (or buy the frosting store bought if the colors are in season). Both of my recipes are in the Holiday "Halloween" section! Enjoy!
